I am primarily a Landscape Artist.

I paint using oil paints, generally from drawings made on site and often taking reference photographs to remind me of the location and its surroundings.

I was brought up in Sussex, close to the South Downs and the sea. So, I am drawn to the natural environment, its seasons and the shapes created through the displacement of objects in space.

The emotions I feel when travelling to unknown places, or, indeed familiar locations I try to express in colours, not always local, but, mostly representational with varying degrees of abstraction.

The works you see maybe from Kenwood in leafy North London, France and more recently Morocco.
